Principal's Message

Lismore Public School provides its students with quality
educational programs delivered by highly qualified teachers.

The school of approximately 350 students caters for a wide range of learning abilities. The school's population is diverse with both Aboriginal and Sudanese students attending.

A welcoming and friendly school, we work in close partnership with our community who value the varied opportunities the school provides for their children including the choir, the band and sporting experiences. The school's playground is large with grassy lawns and numerous trees providing a pleasant environment. Our school has a modern computer laboratory which is accessed by all students. Through the use of interactive whiteboards for program delivery, students are exposed to the latest technologies in order to enhance their learning.

The staff is responsive to the emerging needs of the students and provides them with a range of educational programs which are challenging. The school's Positive Behaviour for Learning program ensures high standards of behaviour are maintained through a consistent approach by all staff.
