Education:

I have been teaching for 32 years, with the last 12 being at Lismore Public School as head librarian. 

Personal:

As everybody probably knows, my greatest loves in my life would have to be my 2 puppies: BOB the Kelpie (who is 7 years old) and SCAMP the Maltese (who is 4 years old). I also enjoy playing golf on the weekend and playing the piano. 

Books:

The first book I remember reading when I was a little girl was called The Sugar Plum Fairy, but I can’t remember who wrote it. I now read all the time and I have many favourite books. My favourite children’s book would definitely be 7 Little Australians by Ethel Turner. It makes me cry every time!

Personal:

My favourite thing I like to do is read with my friends in the library. Other hobbies of mine include giving bear hugs, watching Care Bears and going on a teddy bear picnic. 

Books:

I like new books like A Story For Bear by Dennis Haseley, as well as classics such as ‘Winnie the Pooh’, ‘the Berenstein Bears’ and of course my favourite fairytale - ‘Goldilocks’.
