General Information

Welcome to the Lismore Public School library – a safe and comfortable environment where students can discover the magic of reading! The library holds over 10,000 resources, including books, magazines, posters, CDs, DVDs and much, much more.

Opening hours

The library is open Monday to Friday, 8:40 to 3:10. Students are able to a ccess the library before school, as well as at 1:30 (second half of lunch) when library staff are on duty. The easy way to tell if the library is open is to spot the red flag that is placed on the balcony overlooking the COLA.

Check out policy

Infants are allowed to borrow 2 books per visit, while Primary students may
borrow 3 books. Students that need to borrow more books (ie. for projects) can so, but must ask for permission from the librarian first. Books can be held for up to 2 weeks before they must be returned. Charges for lost or damaged items will sent out at the end of the year.
